about Kids

Kids received a £1.4m grant from the Big Lottery Fund to set up the Young People's Inclusion Network. The three-year project sits within Kids' National Development Division.

Kids wants to transform attitudes so that all children and young people have the chance to be included in the leisure and learning of everyday life. We want fantastic facilities and opportunities that help children grow in confidence and ability.

Kids also wants to shape national policy and increase support so that Disabled Children and Young People are properly included. Brilliant services, serious fun.

Chief Executive Kevin Williams said: "The Young People's Inclusion Network is a great focus for Kids, helping Disabled Young People find a voice to express what they require and the support they need to effect real change. It's great that Disabled Young People are involved in steering and developing the project - I'm looking forward to see how it develops over the next two years."
