a space for disabled young people

Young People's Inclusion Network

This website is a space where Disabled Young People can hang out and make a strong social network. It's also a place to challenge barriers that exclude Disabled People. Our aim is to enjoy working together to make society more equal.

about us

This is a three-year project to investigate what makes inclusion work for young people aged 11-19. Our aim is to challenge discrimination and provide a model to help youth and leisure services be more inclusive.

Our groups are based in London, the South East, the South West, the West Midlands and Yorkshire & the Humber. In each group we are taking part in leisure activities and assessing how inclusive we think they are.

We are producing a toolkit for inclusion because ALL young people have the RIGHT to be fully included in youth and leisure activities. Enjoy exercising your rights and challenging any barriers in your way.

Five young people from London - the online inclusion  group (Oi!) have created this website. It's designed to be a space for Disabled Young People to hang out with each other. It's also a place to show all our photos, videos and reports about inclusion.

See the Oi! page in the members directory for more information (members only!)
